yay haha just bought some stuff online ;p online spree-ing is indeed kinda' addictive, esp when you already know what sizes fit you... i've received quite a lot of my AE stuff already so i'm a happy girl.
wenta' eat AJISEN RAMEN today. ate the VOLCANO RAMEN. got 4 chillies on the menu, which means that it's the spiciest ramen the restuarant has got to offer. BUT, it wasn't spicy at all, personally. -.-""" you can ask susie. we met up for lunch today. hahaha. but i have to say the ramen was good! the texture and elasticity was just right, they served us a lot of noodles btw, and the stock was delicious too.. it was kinda salty though, so after drinking half a bowl of soup, i just could not consume anymore of it. what a pity. i hope the stock is those boiled in real bones and veggies/etc, and not those made of fake flavouring/MSG.
last week i went back to JJ for the juniors' juniors' (27th SC) invest rehearsal and i had sucha fun time with SK, val and natty poo! SK was sick so we sent her back home and then went to IMM pepper lunch for dinner. yummy food. not bad la. nat was so excited she toppled the sauce. hahaha. but she was like helping me flavour my food cos it was my first time there. then they talked about some spiritual mapping. kinda scary, but sounded super fun. would love to join them one day, perhaps to overcome my fear? fear in what? i also duno. but i think val can pretty much produce a movie with the 'script' (story) which she shared that night.. hahaha :D
oh and i was very very happy i got to see some of the juniors :D esp celeste, and many others.. haha. they look more mature. :D miss those days when i was still studying in JJ. wishing the 26th SC the best of luck in their studies and that they'l do very well in the As. as for the 27th SC, i had a really good time watching the rehearsal, it definitely brought back a lot of memories. :D good luck for your term and i hope you'll cherish the times spent together! you'll confirm have a blast! :)
yay just found out that shania (weilin) is going to watch the MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM too! but she's going a week later than me haha :P yay then maybe can go train for milkrun tog sometime soon.... woopeedee ;p

Yay i received my undies from American Eagle le, i'm so happy cos' it's fitting (not very tight, not very loose) teehee :D and it's so cute too.. haha. :D the spree organiser was quite rude though, didn't really enjoy her spree. she was really disorganised and sends ppl the wrong information. her procedures were really messy and she didn't tell us what we had to do and you know at times, i feel as if my undies weren't going to make it to my home. thank goodness i got it yesterday, 3 whole weeks after it arrived at her home. but anyhow i still appreciate the fact that she helped organised the spree. :D
my house is in a wreck. lol. the contractors are drilling the walls and we're actually going to hack down two walls at my entrance. so it's very noisy here. cherryn and i are going to head for the club to swim before we become deaf =/ we've been quite busy staying at home, packing the house too..besides helen is getting old and we can't expect her to do everything.. :)
btw i hope my knee gets well soon. i've been jogging lately (not on treadmills this time) and it has been causing my knee to hurt quite badly. i think because i'm too heavy. but it doesn't occur when i'm running on treadmills. i read on an article on SHAPE mag yesterday also, that going on the elliptical for 30 mins can help to lose 300+ calories. i've tried it before in the past at clementi gym and URA (my office then).. but it has been awhile. hahaha. :D i still think swimming is the best cos' it doesn't have sucha huge impact on my knees and joints.
YAY i'm going to watch the MIDSUMMER NITE'S DREAM at fort canning park with apple. shall go to JP (sistic agent) to buy the tickets later before heading for JJ to meet val and SK! :D

HELLOOOS WORLD!
long time no update! so excited, going back to JJ on fri with SK and val ;) charlies angels ;D can't wait to see the rest of the ppl like nat and pat in school, and of coursey, the wonderfully kick ass teachers! the investiture has been postponed..and it's on a thurs so i think i may have to leave early, or i may not be able to like stay in slack with the rest cos' i have NDP trainings twice a week starting from next week onwards. oh wells! :D it's ok la, at least i get my break now and i can go back to see how things are esp with my darling welfarians! :D miss those babies to bits!
what have i been up to? hmm not much but it has been a superb holiday. my last day at URA was last fri, so on sat and sun i had family outings - icecream (the daily scoop OMG haha), swimming at the club, visiting blah blah.. and i just love being with my family! :P hehe.
sat was mainly NDP training, one of my finger's skin peeled off so it was bleeding a lil' after swinging the ball for too long. was very very fun though, learnt a lot of new stunts! :) angela took vids of me but when she blue toothed over from samsung to nokia, it was pitch back-nothing. i'm not sure why maybe not compatible. :D but yipee i love trainings! getting more exciting. luckily cher and i didn't have to spin with the fire YET. we should be using the metal chains soon.
on sun we had morning gongyo as usual so after a tired tired NDP training the night before, forced myself out of bed at 7am and after gongyo we had breakfast at bt timah with my sister's professor (from NTU art design and media). the prof is super cool and she's a taiwanese who studied all over the world and produces her own films. those very chim and arty farty films. haha :P oh she happens to be teaching here alone and is a SOKA member so we're pretty close with her - invite her over for steamboats and stuff. then my dad drove cher and i to her home at NTU meadows after breakfast and her home was so pretty and peaceful! i was glued to her grandpiano, haha. my first time laying my hands on one and playing tunes on it so i was a very happy girl that day! :) i also love the patches of green fields outside her home. i like the grassy feeling in NTU. :) i'd love my home to be like that in future.
hmm then something emo happened during the weekend also, i shan't mention anyth about here. all i can say is it has made me a stronger person. thank you for all those who cared so much.. :) :) :) THANK U!
on MON i spent my day with APPLE who's back from taipei! he bought so many things for me.. lol and PINEAPPLE TARTS thing.. v popular in taipei i believe. and my family loves it to bits. haha. and instant noodles which can blow ur mind. it tastes as good as those jap ramen which has its stock boiled for hours.. haha. having instant noodles once in a while is not that bad actually. perhaps in the past when i was in council, it was just cupnoodles everyday, so there was this period in j2/now i got real sick of it. :P
then on TUES i went for a swim at the club with cher and the pool as usual was almost all ours. haha. it was fun. next time anybody wanna come just drop me an sms k? haha :) i miss gg there with bin, hoongy, SK, shuhui, nat, mr leow..etc. last time i think after orientation. haha :D oh and since it was tues, how can anyone forget, GELARE WAFFLES? :D mousey and i met up and headed to HOLLAND V (ours beloved place) for SUBWAY and GERLARE! yummy ;) i miss my subway girls, haha, 05a2, we shall meet up soon and gorge ourselves with more subway sandwiches ok? haha :P visited ATHENA at hagaan daz (sp?) and then we had waffles..the waffles werent that good compared to the one at citylink. so next time i'll head to citylink for waffles instead! teehee :P i'm so in love with waffles, also the one at the DAILY SCOOP at sunset way ;) YAY I LOVE MY MOUSEY. talk non-stop for a superly long time in gelare. nice place to chill. next stop in future, essential brews mmkays? rmbr to bring a book there! :D we also went window shopping and saw a JJ teacher (val's beloved, BAT WOMAN.. umm. chinese teacher)! HV is such an awesome place.. and i officially declare my love for COLD STORAGE! :D
carmela dropped by today and i was like babysitting her from morning til noon! it's tiring handling a 20 month child but i love 20 month toddlers! they can run, speak a lil' and they're sooo cute! :D marevic kept teaching carmela this sexy dance, haha, i wish i could dance that well! haha. the contractors were also here so i couldn't meet mousey to collect my cam which i forgot all about the day before. teehee :P helen says i'll be a great kindergarten teacher, i also wonder if i'll be able to handle young kiddos in future? because this is only ONE kid and i love one to one interaction.. i duno about one to forty. but it'll be a great experience anyhow! :) i also declare my love for babies/toddlers/kids! :) i also like old folks actually.. :) esp my granny and i always wish she was still around..
so after sweating for the past coupla' hours playing with carmela, i finally have some time to myself. and the weather has actually changed drastically over the past few hours as well. hmm. i wonder whats going on with mother earth man. haha :) one moment my home is a natural sauna. the next moment it starts to pour, and now it's actually pretty cooling! and the heat isn't getting on my nerves anymore because there actually isn't any heat. hahaha :)
btw, i also got news over the weekend that i'm accepted at NTU's school of humanities and social science - ECONOMICS. honestly, i really really love NTU. because of PRE-U-SEM. so i still havent decided where to go yet. and i hope i'll get an acceptance letter from SMU too. :( and wish that all my friends would get letters of acceptance asap too.. :)

Waiting for interviews, etc.. was kinda worried and paranoid. when friends got their letters of acceptance i got even more worried and troubled. went for SMU interview but was wondering if i'd get into the uni of my choice. i'd check my mailbox like twice a day hoping to see an envelope addressed to me.

went to work today but i forgot everyone's on course. so the office pple told me to come home. got home at 9am plus and slept for awhile more before contacting jerms. i have been having very weird dreams these coupla' days. *sigh* i wonder is there a reason behind these dreams? perhaps you could help me decipher them. haha. i dreamt that i've turned lesbian. i dreamt of that twice can.. how random can my dreams get? and they say that dreams are things that you've thought about during the day, but lesbianism/or anything to do with that has never came across my mind.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY HELEN! birthday celebration tonight and tmrw as well! - for cherryn. :D
shuhui, hoongy, bin, and myself wenta' swim yesterday at clementi. we met eugene there and he joined us for makan. (eugene from ctss to jjc to acjc) hoongy intro-ed us to go to st luke's area for dinner. we had a very filling meal! jerms joined us for dinner too! look, that's shuhui with her thumbs up! haha :)
we ordered 6 plates of sotong/hokkien mee, 20 chicken wings/drumlets, 20 sticks of satay, big plate of wu-xiang and oyster omelette. haha. shuhui and i could only eat finish half a plate of the noodles so bin helped us gobble it up. he is one big eater but one skinny dude whom i envy! haha.

hello hello. i just got back from the NDP audition and training. i got in! :) yes i'm a happy girl. but the training was really tough.
cherryn and i went together with mika and her friend crystal. we had to go through auditions (for the item by Singapore Soka Association). we're all members but because there was overwhelming response, we weren't able to go for the first few auditions a few months back. this time because they had vacancy as some people weren't able to commit, we were informed to go for the auditions if we were interested.
so we went and had to 'fight' for places. did some warm ups and dance steps, luckily it was manageable cos' we have some mass dance and hiphop/jpop background. so my coordination side was still rather ok. haha. i think there are a few items under this one performance called "SINGA CITY". i'm not very sure cos' it was my first time at training.
there's the "human" portion. it's a dance actually. then the "props" people. both have a few hundred people. and there's one "fire" item they call, with only around 18 persons. cherryn and i were selected to join the "fire" people. it was pressurizing because we have to do stunts with fire and we joined the group later which meant that we have a lot to catch up on. i am honestly quite scared of fire especially when you come upclose with the heat, but i need to try overcome my fear. we'll be handling with fire next week so wish me luck.
we're swinging fire around with both arms. the fire "ball" is attached to metal chains. next time i'll try to take a picture or video of me doing it. when the "ball" (we did it w/o fire today cos' it's our first time) hits you, it really hurts. and i hit my head and back a lot of times. haha. but ya just kept saying "AH-CHA!" to myself and cherryn. haha. then did the jin-shun pose. acha means JIAYOU in korean i think. follow the "jiayou jin shun" the channel U show. haha :)
i hope nothing goes wrong and you can see me on the floating stage on national day ya! :) you'll see props and dancers during the SOKA item, then when u see people doing stunts with fire hor, u'll know i'm one of them.
alright i'm quite tired now, had a really long but fulfilling day. :) tmrw gotta wake up at 6am then still have mika's performance to catch at 10am. i hope i dont fall asleep at the club tomorrow cos' i'm meeting hoongy, bin they all to swim. *zzz*

Abit regret i didn't join the National Vertical Marathon in Feb 07. i think i would've died climbing stairs though. haha! whatever the case, i want to train up for a marathon. it doesn't sound like an easy task but hopefully there'll be a suitable marathon that i register for perhaps in 1 year's time.
I went to jog for about 3-4km on mon and tues during lunch hours, and went for jpop/hiphop dance last night with athena. she gets me high man. that girl is.. oh man, she's just hilarious. she makes me kick her ass and make funny faces during warm-ups. haha. I LOOOVE the dance routine. i kept going to the toilet today cos' the office toilet has got full length mirrors. then i kept dancing in the toilet. i wonder if they're going to have like a part 2 to the 10 lessons. cos' i think we have 2 lessons left only and i'd really love to continue. athena wants to join street jazz though. i don't know what is it. hahaha :D i was thinking, ROCK N ROLL. hahahha!
Anyhoodles, i've been craving for THE DAILY SCOOP since i left that place on sat. i'll be bringing my family there one of the weekend nights! YIPEE! :) thanks to amily for intro-ing! :D i want to try the coffee ice cream with baileys. OOH YEAH!
Amily and i would be joining driving together too. and i found out last night that athena just joined also lah. haha. same place. amanda (05A2) has got her liscense already, and daniel has failed twice and didn't go to his 3rd test cos' he went to NS liao. haha. poor boy. amanda says his eyes too small. like IKAN BILIS. hahaha.
Okees gonna meet up with mousey, shania, lydia and the girls to celebrate shu's birthday tonight! we're going to this korean restaurant. yummy. it's feature in the CLEO mag so i hope the food would be good.

This has got to be one of my busiest weeks cos' i have activities on every day after work. when i get home i'd be too beat to even shower. nah haha! just kidding. :P i'm glad i have such understanding supervisors! most of the people in my section are architects and urban planners. one of the lady told me she took geography and has got her masters deg in urban planning etc. i was like WOW.. kinda inspired by her :) she's a lot older than me though, perhaps in her 40s already. then some of my colleagues who are architects will be bringing me out on site-inspections next week. i'm so excited. one of them even passed me a coupla' books just now on urban planning/buildings etc for me to read. thank u! :)

This morning i went back to school at 7am+ to meet my npcc pals for the speech day parade at CTSS.. and as usual, after the parade we havoc-ed in the np room! :D yay.. i miss my squad SOOO MUCH! :D i'm so glad we're so much closer now than before.. although it's already been 2 years! :)
Then after slackin in the np room, the fund-raising carnival finally began! :) it started at around 10am.. i went around with hafiz and pinky and we had satay and all.. took some silly cowboy photographs, then ames came! yipee! she was really hungry while i didn't really have any appetite so she bought pitas and drinks, etc. the food at the carnival were all SUPERB. seriously. there were like, roti john, popiah (a student brought his/her grandma and maid to come and help lah! haha so cute.), HAN'S curry puffs/etc, pizzas, and sooo much more! :) i was spoilt for choices. i didn't really buy much so i gave ames over $10 of my tickets and she spent it on games/food shared by everyone! of course jerms, rongmin, amily and jess came slightly later after ames! :) btw the flower balloon was stolen by me, i took it from the railings up the hall cos' they were useless already. so i just took it w/o paying. teehee :) it's really cute and it stuck with us the entire day until jerms disfigured it!
Of course, this is miss shelley low.. the awe-inspiring teacher who's super popular among her students.. I miss her so much! and i'm so glad that she's still doing fine, except that she's ill, so we all gotta pray really hard for her speedy recovery and hope that she'll be able to live for many more years to come! :) she wants to see ames in a skirt one day so i told her that she has to stay strong, wait til year 2014 sept 1st for our reunion dinner, i promised her i'd make ames wear a skirt. i really hope miss low can stay happy, positive and long-live to her! :)
Then suddenly i got a call from pinky and she told me to hurry to the patch of grass to play some war-water game. haha so 5 versus 5.. played the game with my NP mates and we all got totally wet! :) it was SO FUN THOUGH! all we had to do was shoot each other with water guns and throw bombs and pails of water at our opponents. the objective of the game? to HAVE FUN! :) and it really was one hell of a game man. it was just like a free and easy game where you'd run around bare-footed in real muddy mud and get totally drenched with dudes pouring pails of water your head! :) haha. it reminded me of JJ :)
After which, we had our graduation ceremony at IKEA! hahaha. oh man, i was just kidding. hahaha. jess, ames, jerms rong, amily and i wenta' IKEA for lunch and had our favourite swedish meatballs. i really miss the meatballs at IKEA! i haven't had them in awhile.. :) btw that isn't a scroll or a cert (jess holding), it's a poster of 5566 which jerms won. hahaha. he didn't know what to do with it and none of us liked the boy group. so i'm not sure what happened to it in the end. haha.
Food glorious food! :) :) :) lotsa' meatballs for all! :D after lunch we wenta' QUEENSWAY for duno how long. met up with siti, kenneth, yongjie, wenxing, weizheng, yaowen and then we went to HOLLAND V for dinner. i was supposed to meet up with my np mates for dinner but it got really late until i decided to move off with the group. otherwise i'd be stuck in no where and my np mates were still in school even near dinner time! haha. i almost fainted lah. but didn't regret going out with my 4b1 mates! :D cos' i miss them all so muchie!
Ok after QUEENSWAY, we had katong laksa for dinner at HOLLAND V and umm.. ended up in the ESKI BAR! it was sucha warm afternoon that we could not resist the coolness of the eski bar. so there we were... it was sorta' like a last minute decision after dinner? cos' everyone was tired and stuff, but because we were all sweaty and hot after the katong laksa feast, we decided to go to eski to literally chill! :D
And yuppp! because it was sucha' last minute and unplanned thing, i was in shorts so my feet were really FREEZING like crazy. but because i have thicker insulating layers, it was as good as wearing a pair of pants lah! :D haha. and the waiter gave the girls PINK jackets. which were really umm, bright. teehee. :) it was so fun being in the sub-zero degree room! some of us were first-timers lah, so we were damn excited. esp amily and i, we were so exhilarated to get our butts into the sub-zero deg room. when we went in right, haha, we literally ran out because it was SO COLD. but after awhile it got a lot better though we had to move in and out of the room to warm ourselves a coupla' times. it felt like shangri-la in yunnan.
We made friends with a south-african girl and she sorta' scared me cos' she was really open.. she told yaowen and i that she was a lesbian after talking for a coupla' minutes.. then she commented on how beautiful my eyes were and that when i looked into hers, i sent electric waves into her's. then said some things to yaowen like, how rosy my cheeks were and what it implied, so i asked her what does that show about a person? she corrected me and said something like "what it shows about a GIRL..." and then gave yaowen a dirty look and replied "i'll tell you later.. when she's (me) not around..".
OMG.. lol.. then yaowen and i continued chatting with her for a lil while more then she suddenly told me that she wasn't hitting on me. then i was again taken aback lah, cos' i never experienced this kinda' thing before. hahaha. :) cos' i could tell that she was.. =/ but actually at that point i wanted to act lesbian and like just play with her la haha! cos' she was really friendly and stuff. but of course i didn't! she say it's a pity i'm still young. and that she could tell that i was very young, "17 or 18 years old??" hahaha. :P OMG so funny but i really had a lot of fun talking to her!! i mean she was sucha cool person to hang out with.. and every now and then amily and jess would cheat by bringing candles into the sub-zero deg room to warm our fingers. hahaha!
Luckily nothing happened in the sub-zero deg room cos' i think that new friend we made was really horny and looking for some company. yaowen's SO good at socialising man. he's like, seriously SUPERB. we talked to an absolute stranger for like more than an hour you know! haha :D so yeah, that was pretty cool. :)

Then we slacked there and talked.. had a really good time with them esp talking to amily and jess. jess had some probs so she was sharing it with us.. it felt like we were back in the sec3/4 days! :) teehee. so fun! and carefree.. she must be really stressed now though! :) i had an even longer talk with amily after not meeting her for like 2 years and she's still so amily! everyone's still like the same, though of course people do change over the years. most of them have matured slightly and it was just so heart-warming meeting them again. :D and like, you know you can be a goof-ball and still be loved! *awwww*... hahaha :D well that's the way it is! :)
On our way home we dropped by the sunset way and had daily scoop there! the icecream was SOOOO AWESOME! it was as good as ben and jerry's, if not, better! :)

Today's outing was extremely eventful and definitely memorable :D yipee i'm so happy! :D and i met up with so many old mates!! TEEHEEE old mates. lol. and teachers and oh man! just so many people! jonathan lai.. weihao.. miss koh. miss toh, miss low, juniors, seniors (gabriel, charles etc), fellow batches of friends and oh man, so many more! then i got to play water games after what seemed eternity and it was really SHIOK. have fun at the carnival.. hang out with my darling friends whom i have neglected while i was so busy in JC.. (i love you all) and just being able to meet and talk to them makes me feel so emo all over now! teeehee. :) my friends are all really important to me, and esp so, for this bunch of friends i've made in CTSS! cos' in sec 3 and 4 they really made my life man. (you know, made my day? made my life? haha) they've changed and brought so much into my life! :) that's why i'm so glad to have them around. and usually sec sch is where you would make the bestest of best friends haha, and really genuine ones too, whom you'll keep in contact for the rest of your life... :)
Oh then kenneth was very gentlemanly. he walked me home from the bus interchange though he had to take the train to woodlands. despite me rejecting his offer to walk me home he just had to la. he was really v welfare. haha :) he was just like a super nice big brother to all of us and would take care of us making sure that like, nothing happened to the girls esp at night. :) thanks alot kenneth! sometimes i wonder how it'd be like if i had a brother in my family? haha. it would definitely be pretty cool. but nothing beats having 3 sisters! haha :D
So yeah i'd going to hit the sacks now cos' i'm very tired and have to wake up at 6am plus tmrw again. heehee. :) goodnight to all.. and to all those whom i've met up with today, i really miss you and love you, and i hope we'll keep in contact alright? it was great seeing you. to those whom i miss dearly and did not see, esp fiona, etc, i still love and miss you, so we better keep in touch ok! teehee :)
